Revenue earned in the fourth quarter by Coca-Cola Inc narrowly missed estimated level forecast by analysts due to a drop in demand in China and weak sales performance in Europe. Despite its lower-than-expected revenue, however, the soft drink company saw a rise in its profits in the quarter.

Perhaps, it can be called a tradition to tighten controls and discipline rules in China when significant political events take place. State security is the main course and Internet censorship is a side-dish of a choice on the menu of state officials. On November 2012, 18th Congress of Chinese Communist Party took place; that represented the most important political meeting within last 10 years. The opportunity to tighten controls wasn’t missed and innovative solutions were introduced. Novelty in internet censorship was set forth with elements of pressure on foreign businesses to share their internet traffic log with state authorities. It gives reasons to believe that China is eager to flex muscles in internet control once again.
